A Violent Derive ....

MIT professor Charity Scribner has written a much-needed assessment of the relations between Internationale Situationniste and the Red Army Faction in the latest Grey Room. The ariticle, entitled "Buildings on Fire: The Situationist International and the Red Army Faction" is a fascinating piece of writing, tracing the two groups' ideological and political trajectories to images of burning buildings during the 1965 Watts Riot.
